I back on the Ext trail - well doing some asp .Net and Ext stuff and I noticed that the API is now available as an Adobe Air install.

This is great as you can take it away with you and run it locally without the need for a web server.    Air installs quickly and the API just as quickly.

This was probably done ages ago ... but was a nice find for me today.

Just had a client say that to me!  Its strange, but I had to stop myself from laughing - part shock, but mostly just really pleased that he is that happy with it.

So to Mary-Beth et al - all the time and effort has obviously paid off, thanks.  Long may it continue.

Can across this today:    LaCie announces 1TB hard disk.

And with Samsung striding forward with a 256Gb solid state drive that apparently performs even better.

Then IBM reckon they have something that will change the playing field yet again with a technology that will replace traditional hard drives and solid state drives in 10 years {link}.  I've seen this sort of prediction before which didn't come to anything .. but who knows.

I'm now away to feel totally inadequate with my 80Gb 5200rpm 5 platter drive

Welcome ..
