I got logged into the BleedYellow Sametime server tonight .. its the first time that I'd run Sametime with the integrated client in Notes 8 and its all round a pretty good experience. I find the Eclipse preferences takes a bit getting used to and with so many little buttons on the client, often with default options and drop down menus I find myself clicking around a lot. But all very cool.
At Alan Lepofsky's invitation I dropped him a note and said thanks.. Alan responded with some emoticons that look so good I felt slightly inadequate! But there you go... you can connect with even more people now! I'll just have to get some cooler icons loaded..
I have at least thrown together a quick 'BleedYellow' community icon to replace the standard icon ..

You can change the icon via 'Manager Server Community'.. so thats nice too.
Anyway .. its way past my bedtime ... time to sleep.
